On this tour which departs today, you will visit the well-known St. Mary’s Church which features unique artwork depicting the life of Christ and enchanting sculptures of religious saints.
Sight: Dutch Fort
The colonisation of Sri Lanka during periods of foreign rule in the country’s history and the scars from these times can still be seen in places like the Portuguese-built Negombo Fort.

Spend hours in our garden where you can witness the enchanted force of butterflies being held captive by foliage. Heal your mind with the assortment of rare medicinal plants blooming plants and shaded canopies.
Sight: Muthurajawela Marsh Tour
Along with the Negombo lagoon Muthurajawela is a vast marsh covering thousands of acres in Sri Lanka. Together they make for a unique travel destination that is rich in the country’s natural resources. Beginning at the Muthurajawela Marsh Center the boat ride will travel alongside the historic Dutch Canal to the Negombo Lagoon and the mangroves that border it.
